A couple walking along the Belgian coast, on a windy and cold afternoon. Waves everywhere - sky, sea and sand. With gorgeous natural light at the end of the day.

Do you know the saying “The best camera is the one you have with you„ ? Well, I used an old Yashica point & shoot camera for this shot, with black and white film.
The “fun” thing about shooting film is that you can’t verify if the shot was successful – you’ll only see it once the whole film is developed. Basically, you gotta let go of the outcome. It’s fun because you spend more time enjoying the moment by not checking every picture you take. If it ends up being a good shot, great!, if not, there will be other pics.
As such, it only took me a few seconds to compose and shoot this scene. You can’t imagine how happy I was when I saw the result a few days later!
[To be honest though, shooting film is is too expensive to be viable but it’s fun!]
